Delegation of Plymouth University visited Neusoft Institute Guangdong

Steve, dean of school of engineering from Plymouth University and Rebecca, director of Plymouth Office in China visited Neusoft Institute Guangdong in the afternoon on March 11th. During the visit, we discussed and reached an agreement on deepening inter-school cooperation, promoting international talents training, launching bridging programs like “3+1”, “2+2”. Xin Liu, dean of School of International Education from Neusoft Institute Guangdong welcomed the guests.

During the subsequent information session, Steve introduced the basic information, specialty of different majors, curriculum requirements and campus culture of Plymouth University. He showed a panorama of life studying in British university by showing several videos featured current students and graduates from Plymouth University. He encouraged students to broaden their international visions and hoped that the advanced teaching concept and diversified personnel training mode could make students trained by both schools become more competitive in the job market.

Neusoft Institute Guangdong and Plymouth University signed the official student cooperative training agreement on October 2018. Majors like software engineering and electronic business from School of International Education will start to cooperate with Plymouth University this year and launch bridging programs like “3+1”, “2+2”. Plymouth University is located in Plymouth in the southwest of England. The university is famous for its first-class teaching quality and high research level. In the government’s independent assessment of teaching quality, there are 15 subject areas of the school obtained “excellent” or equivalent level.
