Big News! Neusoft education got a three-time national level maker space!

Recently, the Ministry of science and technology announced “the notice of the 2020 national record maker space from the Ministry of science and technology”. The SOVO maker space of Chengdu Neusoft University was approved as the national level maker space, becoming the first private university in Sichuan Province approved by the Ministry of science and technology. So far, SOVO of Dalian Neusoft University of Information, 18mall of Neusoft Institute Guangdong, and SOVO of Chengdu Neusoft University have all been listed in the national level maker space, providing excellent working space, network space, social space and resource sharing space for entrepreneus, forming an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem together with technology business incubators, accelerators, industrial parks, etc., to contribute to the high quality development of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The university is the birthplace of innovative thinking and entrepreneurial consciousness, the home of innovative and entrepreneurial culture and the incubator of achievements. In 2002, under the proposal of Liu Jiren, the chairman of the board of directors, the three schools of Neusoft education successively set up student entrepreneurship centers, namely Students Office & Venture Office, abbreviated as “SOVO”, cultivates innovative and entrepreneurial thinking, consciousness, spirit and ability, realizes the integration of innovative and entrepreneurial education, professional education, quality education and ideological and political education, and constructs a comprehensive quality education system of lifelong sustainable development for students through the gradual cultivation and spiraling up SOVO practice platform. By the middle of 2019, the three student entrepreneurship centers have incubated more than 6300 start-up projects and opened over 1000 virtual companies, more than 220 of which have been transformed into real companies.

Since its establishment, Neusoft Education SOVO has won a number of national awards, including “the first batch of 50 innovative and entrepreneurial education typical experience universities”, “the first batch of 99 demonstration universities of deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform”, “National University practice and education innovation and entrepreneurship base”, “torch center of the Ministry of science and technology”, “maker space” and “national college students off campus practice education base”.
