Seven new undergraduate majors of Neusoft education were approved to further improve the layout of IT + Health and medical technology major

Recently, the Ministry of Education issued a notice on the record and approval results of undergraduate majors of ordinary colleges and universities in 2019 (JGH [2020] No.2). According to the results, in 2019, colleges and universities added 1672 newly registered undergraduate majors, 181 newly approved undergraduate majors, 47 adjusted degree granting categories, and 367 canceled undergraduate majors.

The University of Neusoft education has seven newly registered undergraduate majors in total: four majors of Dalian Neusoft Universities of Information are medical information engineering, artificial intelligence, robotics engineering, big data management and application; three majors of Chengdu Neusoft University are medical information engineering, intelligent science and technology, health service and management.

These new majors will promote Neusoft education to further focus on the IT and healthcare medical technology field with outstanding advantages, take the high-quality employment and Entrepreneurship of students as the guidance, and move forward to the development goal of building a characteristic, high-level and entrepreneurial application-oriented university.

In recent years, Neusoft education has made remarkable achievements in professional construction, with more than 200 projects approved for teaching quality projects above the provincial level; it ranks first among all private colleges and universities in China according to the number of IT students in schools and the number of IT majors; the Ministry of Education released the list of the first batch of national first-class undergraduate professional construction “Shuangwan Plan” in 2019, Neusoft education has 12 majors selected, Dalian Neusoft University of Information has been approved three national level(computer and technology, software engineering, digital media technology) and six provincial first-class undergraduate professional construction sites, and the number of approved universities (including independent colleges) ranks first in private colleges and universities.
