Neuedu's international digital talent training has recommenced on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative

20 July 2023, Dalian - The Chengdu Neusoft University ("CNU") warmly received a delegation from Souphanouvong University in Laos for an educational visit. During this visit, Neusoft Education Technology Group Co. Limited ("Neuedu" or the "Group") furthered the implementation of PUSUNE Digital College in collaboration with Souphanouvong University and Pu'er College. Vira ANOLAC, vice president of Suphanuvong University, CHEN Yong, vice president of Pu'er University, LI Yingao, senior vice president of the Group, ZHANG Yinghui, president of CNU, CHEN Xuhui, vice president of CNU, JIANG Tianhang, Southwest regional general manager of the Group attended the event. 



On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, Pu'er University, Souphanouvong University, and the Group jointly held an unveiling ceremony for PUSUNE Digital College. This marks a significant step towards cultivating internationalized digital talent, deepening China-Laos community building with a shared future, and promoting solid implementation of ASEAN's digital economy development strategy.



LI extended a warm welcome the delegations from Souphanouvong University and Pu'er University. He emphasized that in light of the rapid development of the digital economy in countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, the Group effectively capitalizes on its industrial strengths and actively engages in fostering the growth of the digital economy and empowering digital talents. The Group advocates for the digitalization of education, industry, and society in Laos and other Belt and Road countries by fostering high-level international digital technology talents and constructing top-quality educational resources, thereby providing intellectual and talent support for the establishment of a new development pattern featuring dual circulation. 



ZHANG expressed that CNU as an IT-focused university actively aligns itself with the national development strategy of the Belt and Road Initiative. It leverages its industrial background and resource advantages to prioritize international cooperation, integrate industry and education, and foster innovation and entrepreneurship. The university consistently enhances its talent cultivation models and fosters deep collaboration with enterprises, making significant contributions to economic and social development. CNU will capitalize on its regional advantages, talent pool, technology, and resources to effectively execute key tasks and actively contribute to the high-quality development of PUSUNE Digital College. Moreover, it will continue to explore and expand partnerships with Pu'er University and Souphanouvong University. 



CHEN mentioned that as an important comprehensive university along the China-Laos Railway, Pu'er University fully utilizes the locational advantages of Pu'er City, which is connected to three countries and five neighboring regions. It closely follows the rapid development of China-Laos cooperation and embraces the new trends in higher education in the new era. Upholding the principles of being localized, regional, applied, and internationalized, Pu'er University strives to cultivate talents, build platforms, and forge connections to contribute to the cooperation and friendship between China and Laos. 



ANOLAC expresses gratitude for the support and assistance provided by the Group and Pu'er University. He mentions that Souphanouvong University has developed a deep friendship with Pu'er University through long-term cooperation and exchanges. This visit is an important milestone for Souphanouvong University to strengthen cooperation with Chinese universities and enterprises and promote the construction of PUSUNE Digital College. He hopes that through this exchange, the three parties can firmly establish confidence in cooperation and work together to build a high-quality platform for shared resources, making positive contributions to the development of the digital economy in Laos and China.



According to the cooperation agreement signed by the three parties earlier, the Group will provide high-quality smart education platforms and resources to PUSUNE Digital College. The three parties will collaborate in the joint construction of "school-enterprise-school" programs in fields such as software engineering, digital media, and e-commerce. They will also engage in deep cooperation in areas such as international student education and faculty exchange and training.
