Dalian Neusoft University of Information won the first prize of National Teaching Achievement Award again!

25 Jul 2023, Dalian - The Ministry of Education issued the Decision on approving the 2022 National Teaching Achievement Award winners. "Innovation and Practice of Multi-Collaborative Digital Talent Training Model of Integrating Government, School, Industry and Enterprise Based on Digital Workshop" jointly submitted by Dalian Neusoft Institute of Information ("DNUI", or the University) and Neusoft Education Technology Co. Limited ("Neuedu") and presided over by Professor Wen Tao, honorary president of DNUI, won the national first prize, which is the only first prize of national teaching Achievement Award won by Liaoning province in the field of vocational education.

After winning the first prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award in 2005, the University won the first prize of the national teaching Achievement Award again! So far, it has won 4 national teaching achievement awards and 72 provincial teaching achievement awards.

This teaching achievement aims at the painful and difficult problem that the number, structure and level of regional digital talent training in China cannot fully meet the needs of the digital economy industry. Based on the advantages of industry integration and education experience, it innovates the cooperation mechanism of "integrating government, school, industry and enterprise". The multi-collaborative digital talent training model based on digital workshop (high-level digital talent training and innovative service platform) has been constructed and implemented. This model has the characteristics of ability evaluation orientation, multi-subject coordination, and the whole process of intelligent talent training. In the past eight years, it has provided strong talent and intellectual support for the development of regional digital economy and the digital transformation and upgrading of industries, and achieved good education results.

The National Teaching Achievement Award is the highest award in the field of education and teaching research and practice established in accordance with the "Teaching Achievement Award Regulations" of The State Council, and is reviewed every four years. It is used to reward the collectives and individuals who have achieved teaching results, encourage educators to engage in education and teaching research, and improve the teaching level and quality of education, representing the highest level of education and teaching work in China. A total of 1416 candidate projects for vocational education teaching achievement awards were recommended throughout the country, and a total of 572 awards were awarded, including 2 grand prizes, 70 first prizes and 500 second prizes.

Since its inception, the University has always adhered to the fundamental task of building a distinguished, high-level and entrepreneurial university of applied technology, focusing on the field of IT+ digital media and health medical technology. It has built five major clusters with advantages: computer and software, intelligence and electronics, digital media and design, information and business management, and health and medical technology. In particular, since the implementation of the "Double Million Plan" for the construction of first-class undergraduate majors by the Ministry of Education, the University has been selected as a total of 15 first-class undergraduate major construction stations, including 7 national first-class undergraduate major construction stations and 8 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction stations, covering nearly 70% of the university's undergraduate students. Among them, the number of state-level first-class undergraduate professional construction stations ranks first in the country's private universities.

Winning the first prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award again is a high evaluation and full affirmation of the University's characteristic school-running, the effect of education and teaching reform and the effect of talent training.
