On October 17th, 2019, the Ministry of Education and other four departments held the 1+1 series press conference of “Implementing the concept of National Education Conference and advanced to celebrate Chinese birthday” in Qingdao. The first batch of National Vocational Education Teachers’ Enterprise Practice Base in China was announced during the conference. 102 domestic companies including Neusoft Education Technology Group were selected.
Building the “national team” of vocational education teachers’ enterprise practice base is an important measure of the Ministry of Education to implement the “Opinions of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China on Comprehensively Deepening the Reform of Building Teachers’ Team in the New Era” and the “Implementation Plan of National Vocational Education Reform”. The National Vocational Education Teachers’ Enterprise Practice Base aims to deepen the integration between industry & education and the cooperation between schools and enterprises, to play an important role in building the vocational education teachers’ team and to accelerate the construction of a high-quality team of professional faculty with industrial experience in the new era.
The National Vocational Education Teachers’ Enterprise Practice Base mainly undertakes national-level training tasks for vocational colleges and application-oriented undergraduate colleges’ teachers. It welcomes teachers to conduct engineering technology practice and professional skills training on a regular basis, exchanges personnel with cooperative colleges to communicate with each other, take part-time positions and carry out industry-education R&D cooperation, etc. In the future, we will take full advantages of the National Vocational Education Teacher Enterprise Practice Base’s own strengths and the intellectual resources of vocational college teachers, support enterprises, schools and research institutes to carry out collaborative innovation focusing on key technologies, core processes and common problems of the industry, explore the mechanism of resource sharing and mutual benefits with vocational colleges and accelerate the transfers from basic research outcomes to industrial technologies.
During the press conference, Youqun Ren, Director of the Department of Teachers’ Affairs of the Ministry of Education, said that the first batch of bases are all strategic key industries and enterprises in the fields that are in shortage. They represent the advanced level of the industry and have certain influence in the country and even in the world. These bases possess positions & industrial chains that cover various majors and long-term basis & experience of school-enterprise cooperation. Teachers can get familiar with the standards of the positions, have access to advanced technologies, sharpen their operational skills by practicing in these enterprises. This provides an unimpeded channel for the two-way communication between technical personnel from schools and enterprises. In the future, the base will undertake the national level training tasks for teachers from vocational colleges and application-oriented undergraduate colleges, welcome teachers to conduct engineering technology practice and professional skills training. It will also carry out the exchange of personnel with vocational colleges to communicate with each other & take part-time positions and the cooperation of industrial R&D.
The successful approval of the national-level enterprise practice base marks that Neusoft Education Technology Group has received important recognition in the aspect of industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation. Meanwhile, it also established a solid foundation for carrying out deep cooperation with vocational colleges and application-oriented undergraduate colleges for the group.
