Chengdu Neusoft University

Chengdu Neusoft University is a private higher institution approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, founded by Neusoft. In 2003, it was approved by the Sichuan Provincial Government to establish Chengdu Neusoft Information Technology Vocational College, offering vocational education; in 2003, the school was designated by the Ministry of Education as one of the first 35 national exemplary software vocational colleges; in 2011, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to upgrade to Chengdu Neusoft College, becoming the first independent private bachelor's degree-granting institution in Sichuan Province. In 2015, it passed the evaluation for new bachelor's degree-granting institutions; in 2016, it became the president unit of the Sichuan Private Education Association; in 2021, it successfully passed the evaluation for undergraduate teaching work at ordinary universities, becoming the first private university in Sichuan Province to pass the evaluation.

The college is located in Dujiangyan-Qingchengshan, a World Natural and Cultural Heritage Site in Sichuan Province, which is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. The air is fresh and the environment is beautiful, with over 20,000 students enrolled. The college currently has 13 teaching departments, covering five disciplinary categories of engineering, management, art, literature, and medicine, with a total of 31 undergraduate majors. It enrolls students from 30 provinces and municipalities across the country, and two vocational majors are offered in Sichuan Province. In terms of educational levels, the university primarily focuses on undergraduate education, with a complementary emphasis on specialized vocational education. It also actively engages in continuing education, international student education, and graduate education.
